GrapheneOS now has Singapore instances for the grapheneos.org (website, etc.) and grapheneos.network (connectivity checks, HTTPS network time) servers. They're used for South/East Asia and Oceania. Lots of GrapheneOS users in India and to a lesser extent Australia.
Not able to provide Singapore instances for releases.grapheneos.org (update servers) yet due to lack of unmetered options. OVH has unlimited bandwidth for all VPS / dedicated servers in EU/NA. It'd cost 30x more for same throughput with unmetered bandwidth in Singapore/Sydney.
GeoDNS is an easy way to spread out load intelligently and doesn't cost us extra money. It's comparable to adding more servers via round-robin DNS but the end result provides much better latency and throughput. Can see the setup in github.com/GrapheneOS/ns1.gr…. Gradually scaling up.

Screenshots show latency around the world before and after deploying Singapore instances (tools.keycdn.com/ping is the test site). Can see how much better it got. Quite noticeable with TCP+TLS (even for TLS 1.3) and is really going to help with time.grapheneos.org accuracy.
